Getting back in the saddle.
I’m not sure what happens but it seems that PASS Summit is about the last event of the year, sure we may have a user group meeting here in Nashville after that but not always. Then we roll really fast into holidays. During the mad rush of decorating, festivities and fun; SQLSaturday Nashville starts ramping up. Once that is over, I am exhausted and behind on everything in life. So, it takes me a little while to get back into the grove of things or back in the saddle, if you will.

It’s really about time I make it back there for their awesome event. I’m looking forward to hanging out with this guy and hopefully learn a bit more about island time.

I am super excited to be heading to Pensacola for #SQLSat734. It’s approximately a 6 hour drive, so we hope make it into town mid-afternoon on Thursday. While we are staying at this same hotel, I’m positive my view will not be as great. 😉

Everyone makes choices for their lifestyle and their work-life-balance, it’s okay we don’t have to all be the same because that would be boring. In a conversation recently someone said “No one tells the truth anymore.” For a few days I pondered this and decided that there are people who do tell the truth but their beliefs are so loud that they can’t hear it. This is the 5th year of the event and their goal is to focus on fighting bigotry, discrimination, and prejudice against Muslim women. I saw several hash tags being used throughout the day like #worldhijabday and #istand4hijab. I have never really been one to worry about how many acronyms you could tag after your name.
