Getting back in the saddle.
I’m not sure what happens but it seems that PASS Summit is about the last event of the year, sure we may have a user group meeting here in Nashville after that but not always. Then we roll really fast into holidays. During the mad rush of decorating, festivities and fun; SQLSaturday Nashville starts ramping up. Once that is over, I am exhausted and behind on everything in life. So, it takes me a little while to get back into the grove of things or back in the saddle, if you will.
I am feeling like it’s been forever, and it’s making me a bit nervous that I would decide now is the time to be creating a new session. I am just about scared to death to climb back up on that horse. I’m getting older, I’m getting more tired and I am beginning to settle into this happy life I have here at The Osburn Hideaway.
So, what is my point? Well I just want to share that there is nothing wrong with being happy with who you are and where you are. I feel that so many are missing out on life because they are always focused on the negative and what they don’t have. On somedays I find it every hard to deal with all the “woe is me” that everyone is dishing out. Get off my rainbow!
Life is short! Get out there and live. Love what you have, be grateful and pay it forward. My grandma P. had the best piece of advice “Worry about something for one day and if there is something you can do about it, DO IT. If not stop worrying as there is nothing you can do.”
